It was very important to the couple that the New Mexico mountains were in the background for their ceremony. As we were searching for venues, we finally came upon the gorgeous Bishop’s Lodge. It was truly breathtaking with the pueblo-style buildings and mountains surrounding them as they became newlyweds. For the reception, we did organic-style arrangements that looked as if wildflowers had been freshly picked. Another important element was the groom’s love for fishing, so his groom’s cake displayed a fish in a cooler with some Santa Fe beers. This destination wedding weekend is sure to be one that Shelby & Darrek’s family and friends will never forget!
