A Wedding Worth Doing Twice

Some love stories deserve two ceremonies, and this one gave us the opportunity to create two completely different moments within one extraordinary celebration. With a symphony conductor as the groom and a pop-opera singer as the bride, this wedding was destined to be a grand-scale production, thoughtfully designed around their careers, personalities, and love of music.

The day began with a timeless church ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas, followed by a second ceremony and reception at The Meyerson Symphony Center. The design was classic black and white with a modern edge, perfectly complementing the venue's architecture. Custom details—including the bride’s sculptural gown and sweeping, statement cake—echoed the venue’s dramatic curves. Oversized calla lily arrangements brought an elegant sense of movement to the space. Guest tables were named after instruments, weaving the couple’s shared musical world throughout the celebration.

Then, the room came alive. Guests were greeted by performers dressed in white floral costumes who later transformed into disco-ball dancers and vibrant purple carnival feather dancers, keeping the energy on the dance floor all night. An LED robot dancer on stilts added another unexpected moment, while three choreographed dances and special musical performances made the evening deeply personal—including an original song the bride performed for her groom.

Two ceremonies. One unforgettable production. And a celebration as special as the couple themselves.
